It's the beard. It has sex appeal.
Great picture. I see so many perplexing elements in it. Mostly, I can’t figure out if James’ expression is one of disdain for Emily’s (obvious) interpretative performance of “The Prodigal Carrot” OR ambivalence towards Emily’s mathematical explanation of the perpendicularity of two trilateral carrots (that is, for any horizontal carrot P:x = J and horizontal carrot Q:y = K, where J and K are constants,Q is perpendicular to Q) OR one of just plain lustful hunger for glistening carroty goodness.
